A rare First World War gilt and enamel badge, a Crowned circlet "Hope Welcomes All Who Enter Here" enclosing the letter "M" for 'Queen Mary' and title scroll below 'Queen Mary's Workshop Brighton', the reverse inscribed "H.Chapman Motor Instructor". Very good condition, retaining original loop fitting (now a little bent), no damage to the enamel.
