Morris 8 Radiator Grille Automobile Badge by J.Fray Ltd Birmingham

A good original circa 1940's vintage period 'Morris 8 car badge'; chromium plated example inlaid with black enamel, the central shield bearing the Morris Motors embem, a red oxen crossing the River Thames; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.FRAY.LTD B'HAM'. Good condition, complete with original brass fixing screw post, enamel intact, surface scratches.
Size approx 47 x 38mm. at the widest point.
