A scarce original wartime period 'Co-op Air Raid Precaution' warden badge'; gilt brass example inlaid with blue enamel, depicting a large corn sheaf flanked by farm sickle and spade with 'ARP' to the center and 'CWS' tri-part scroll below, the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham". Good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, minor surface flaws to the enamel and service wear.
