RAF No 266 Rhodesia Battle of Britain Spitfire Squadron Royal Air Force badge c1940s

A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Royal Air Force No 266 Rhodesia Squadron Spitfire Squadron gilt and enamel badge', depicting a 'Bateleur Eagle' and Northern Ndebele motto 'Hlabezulu' (The stabber of the sky), the reverse with impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish with minor service wear.
