A scarce original First World War circa 1915 period 'Local Government Board for Scotland silver badge'; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks, maker's details 'B&S' (Brook & Son George St, Edinburgh) and inscribed to the recipient 'Nurse ELIZABETH A.BLEASE' 'FEVER TRAINING 1915'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, minor service wear.
