1949 Goodwood BARC membership badge

A scarce original gentlemen's 'British Automobile Racing Club Goodwood 1949 badge', the reverse with maker's details 'Marples & Beasley Birmingham' and impressed with official issue numbers 'No 597'. Very good condition, complete with original cord, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
