Robertsons Golly scout green beret badge c1968 R.E.V.Gomm

A rare original short lived circa 1968 period 'Robertson's Golly boy scout pin badge'; this hard to find green beret example displaying advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' to his chest; the reverse impressed with maker's details in relief 'R.E.V.Gomm Frederick St B'ham I'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to enamel.
Height 35mm.
The rare 'Boy Scout Green Beret badge' circa 1968 design, should not to be confused with the 'Robertson's 1970's Boy Scout Golly badge' without the slogan 'Golden Shred' to his chest. See 1970's Category for an example.
