A scarce original late 20th century 'Leander Rowing Club Henley Royal Regatta pale lilac and gold finished molded plastic undated badge' depicting the clubs logo 'Hippopotamus' over a Star and Arrow shield'. Very good condition, complete with original full length nylon cord.
Height 41mm.
This economically produced surviving example believed to have been worn on Henley Royal Regatta days to show that entry to enclosures had been fully paid for. Colour denoting the year.
