WW2 Wolseley Motor Ltd On National Service officially numbered badge

A scarce original Second World War period 'Wolseley Motor Ltd on war service badge'; silver plate oval example inlaid with blue enamel and inscribed 'Wolseley ON NATIONAL SERVICE, the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham' and impressed with official issue number '1729'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, silver plating remains bright.
