A scarce original wartime period French Exiles in the British Isles 'United Associations of Great Britain & France badge'; gilded brass example in the form of a rose, blue enamel title surround, the centre depicting the united flags of England and France above a 'Fleur de Lis'; the reverse with manufacturers details "W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd Birmingham". Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt remains bright.
