A rare English Made original circa 1924 'Bonzo the Dog silver and enamel pin badge' depicting the cartoon character "Bonzo" with handdog expression; the reverse impressed "Sterling Silver" and "Rd 706546" a registration, design and patent number for 1924. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.

A scarce original circa 1950 'Muffin the Mule badge', a silver plated example designed in the same form as the children's television dancing character puppet. A scarce original circa 1940' /1950's 'Croydon Times Bunny Club badge', square shape silver plated example featuring a clock face with the name of the newspaper "CROYDON TIMES" replacing the normal 1-12; the reverse with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Ltd, Regent St Birmingham". A very good example of a 'I am a Cococub membership badge'; gilded brass circular example showing the club's logo 'Dumpty Doo the duck, wearing a tam-o-shanter cap' in blue enamel on a white ground; an additional six pointed dangler star bearing a "V" denoting a "Veteran Member Award" the reverse impressed ‘British Made’. Eagle Comic Children's Club Membership Badge & Stars.

A scarce original circa 1950's 1960's period gilt brass 'Eagle comic club membership badge' with rare additional 2, 3, 4 Eagle Club stars, the reverse with maker's details "Fattorini & Sons Ltd B'Ham". Very good clean condition, retaining original pin fittings, an excellent example.

The Eagle weekly comic was founded by Marcus Morris, the first issue published 14th April 1950 to 26th April 1969 and relaunched again from 1982 to 1994. Its main character was Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future. Readers were invited to join the Eagle club by way of a subscription and a member would receive an Eagle badge, a rulebook, and a list of membership privileges.

A good circa 1930's brass and enamel membership badge for "The Grand United Order of the Arkubs" a club formed for children by the "News Chronicle" newspaper. The reverse with maker's details "Miller 118 Branston St B'Ham", very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, minor age wear.

Accompanied by a rare set of paperwork consisting a of a welcoming letter to the new member, on "The Arkubs" headed paper, Headquarters and Address: News Chronicle, Souverie Street, London, E.C.4. and signed by the clubs Principal Bo'sun "Japhet". A ten page book with the rules of the Order, with inked name and address of the fully qualified Arkub, an interesting paragraph about the foundation of the badge and how to wear it, also the Arkubs secret signs and codes etc.
