A scarce original 'National League of Airmen 1935 badge' in the form of a gilt metal aeroplane inlaid with dark blue enamel, the reverse with maker's details "Roden London". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.

Christian Endeavour 28th National Convention Bristol 1920 biplane badge.

A rare original post First World War period 'Christian Endeavour delegate's badge'; gilded brass example in the form of a biplane inlaid with patriotic red, white and blue enamelling, displaying Royal Air Force roundels to the wings and "Still Upwards" along the fuselage, suspended below 'CE' logo disc inscribed "28th National Convention Bristol 1920"; the reverse with unusual scarce maker's details "Kemp Bros Union St Bristol". Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel very minor dark lines underglaze after upwards, gilt finish remains pristine.

Flying From Squires Gate Airport Blackpool aircraft adverting mirror

A rare original circa 1927-1937 'Flying from Squires Gate, Blackpool advertising mirror'; celluloid tin example depicting a black and white photographic image of the Avro 548A Biplane with the British Registration Number "G-E BIU" clearly displayed on the fuselage; the reverse with mirror insert and post-1927 maker's details "Thos Fattorini Ltd Regent St B'Ham" to the rim. Very good condition, minimal foxing.
Diameter 51mm.

The aircraft depicted is an Avro 548A at the time the photograph was taken, it was registered to 'Lytham Williams & Co of Blackpool'. She appeared to have crashed at Rhyl on the 17th May 1937 and was scrapped.

A very fine quality First World War period 'Royal Flying Corps Monoplane patriotic badge' depicting the United Allies Flags of the Nations, England, Belgium, Russia, France and Japan; the reverse impressed "The Allies Aeroplane" "Sterling" and "Regd No 644982" a registered, design and patent date of 1915 and maker's details "W.W.Ld" (W Wilkinson Ltd. Skinner Street & Clerkenwell Road, London). Good condition, perfect enamel without stress, retaining original pin fittings, the four tiny hooks on the reverse would have originally held a thin wire cable in a triangular shape, this now ABSENT, propeller now ABSENT. Price reflects.
