A scarce original 'Comrades of The Great War' silver plated enamel lapel badge, circular title inlaid with red enamel, the voided centre displaying a crowned "Maid of Erin", the reverse with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt London" and issue Number "26107". Very presentable, retaining original buttonhole fitting, enamel with minor service wear, sliver plating worn to brass.

WW1 Princess Victoria's (Royal Irish Fusiliers) Celluliod Charity Fund Raising Flag Day Badge.

A rare First World War period flag day badge, simply made from a strip of celluloid turned over a brass safety pin to form a shield, the front printed with the badge of the regiment, a 'coronet' and flaming grenade bearing 'Prince of Wales Plumes over 'Maid of Erin' with an additional scroll below 'Royal Irish Fusiliers'; the reverse with "Royal Irish Fusiliers" (87th and 89th Foot). Very good condition, colours remain bright and without any foxing, retaining original pin fitting, bottom tip of point to the reverse clipped.

WW1 Munition Makers Canteen Ireland, Irish War Service Badge.

A very rare original First World War circa 1916 'Irish Canteen Workers badge', Crowned gilded brass circlet inlaid with green enamel bearing ''Munition Makers Canteen' title, the central quartered shield on white enamel ground, depicting the four provinces of Ireland 'Ulster, Munster, Leinster, and Connaught'. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright.
Height 38mm.

Munitions workers canteens were established in Ireland from 1916 through a Munition Makers’ Canteen Committee chaired by the Marchioness of Waterford. The scheme was to improve worker’s efficiency by providing an alcohol-free canteen open both day and night. Initially they were run by voluntary workers but due to the difficulty in finding sufficient volunteer workers for the night shifts it was decided to run the canteens with paid staff.

A rare First World War period Belfast Sailor's & Soldier's Service Club War Service silver and enamel badge bearing the Belfast Coat of Arms, the reverse impressed "Sterling", with maker's details "T.L.M" (Thomas Lynton Mott) and official issue number "344". Very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamal and still retaining all of its original gilt finish.
