A scarce original Second World War gilt metal 'B.S.C. Fire Watcher badge', believed to be the 'British Sugar Corporation' company, the reverse with maker's details "Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford Works Birmingham" and with crudely engraved number "346". Fair condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, chip to the enamel at 2 o'clock and surface scratches.

A very rare original 'St Paul's Watch gilt badge' the reverse embossed "1939" and designed by sculptor Laurence Turner, for the 280 or so, volunteer watchers who protected St Paul's Cathedral from fire damage throughout the Second World War. Very good condition.
