A very scarce original Second World War period 'Anchor Motors Ltd National Service lapel badge', chromium plated oblong example displaying the company's logo a 'Winged Anchor'; the reverse with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham" and impressed with low issue number "87". Good condition, retaining original buttonhole lapel fitting, large area of enamel loss corresponding to issue stamp. Price reflects.

1939 National Service Rally, Hyde Park London, Home Front Badge.

A scarce original large celluloid tin button badge issued on the day, to those attending the 'National Service Rally' which was held in Hyde Park London, in the early part of 1939 to promote and to recruit to all the different services of the war effort, the central number "130" denoting which part of the parade ground you were designated. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, minor surface scratches to front, colour remains bright.
