A scarce original wartime issue 'British Broadcasting Corporation lapel pin' worn as a form of identity and to fulfill the role of a National Service badge; nickel silver example displaying the company's logo with "BBC" cypher to the centre on blue enamel ground, the reverse with maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd. B'Ham.18". Good condition, retaining original pin fittings replacement pin, enamel intact surface scratches. Price reflects.

WW2 Entertainments National Service Association Gilt & Enamel 'ENSA' Professional Entertainer Pin Cap Badge.

A very scarce original circa 1939 - 1946 period 'Entertainments National Service Association cap badge'; designed by "Sir Edwin Lutyens PRA" in the form of a gilded brass red white and blue enamel stylized inverted triangle with emphasized central initial "E" within red enamel circle and NSA to arms, surmounted by an additional "A" to the top, the reverse retaining original pin fitting. Very good condition, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.

ENSA formed in 1939, disbanded in June 1946.stress mark across 'S' otherwise enamel perfect.
