A good original circa 1940's period Royal Navy Officer's cap badge, silver metal fouled anchor within gold bullion embroidered laurel leaf surround, surmounted by a padded velvet King's Crown, the reverse with fawn hessian lining. Very good clean used condition, no sign of any moth, bullion nicely toned, and complete with original woollen cap band.

A good original First World War miniature silver 'Battle of Jutland 1916 Commemorative Medal'; the obverse depicting an upright trident with crossed 'Union and White Ensign Flags' on the cross a shield inscribed "31 May 1916" to the surround the legend "TO THE GLORIOUS MEMORY OF THOSE WHO FELL THAT DAY"; the reverse with inscription within an oak wreath "MAY 31, 1916 THE GERMAN FLEET ATTACKED OFF THE COAST OF JUTLAND AND DRIVEN BACK INTO PORT WITH HEAVY LOSS. ADMIRAL SIR JOHN JELLICOE COMMANDER IN CHIEF, VICE ADMIRAL SIR DAVID BEATTY COMMANDING BATTLE CRUISIER FLEET."
Very good condition, top edge impressed "Silver", very minor edge knocks.

Battle of Jutland 1916 Commemorative Medal was designed by the Marquis of Milford Haven. Struck by 'Spink & Son in 1916' and sold for the benefit of the 'Naval Orphanages'. It was issued in Gold, Silver, Bronze and White Metal.

A scarce original post-war period detailed ship's silhouette of 'HMS Chieftain (R36)' in the form of a brooch', the reverse impressed "800" (Silver). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.

Royal Navy HMS Chieftain was a Ch class "Intermediate" destroyers buillt by 'Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company', Greenock, Scotland, launched 26 February 1945. She saw duty during the Suez Crisis in 1956 and was scrapped in Sunderland in 1961.

A scarce original 'H.M.S. Euryalus cap ribbon'; gold cotton silk embroidered lettering on full length silk ribbon. Very good condition.
Length Approx 92mm.

This H.M.S. Euryalus Cap Ribbon is from the ship that was the last cruiser that Chatham Dockyard built. Launched on 6 June 1939, commissioned on the 30 June 1941 and decommissioned on the 19 September 1954.

A scarce original circa 1924 large celluloid tin button badge, depicting a lifebuoy with title "Rule Britannia Souvenir British Fleet"; the centre displaying the head of a young sailor wearing a sailor's cap with "H.M.S. Hood ribbon tally", the rim bearing maker's details "A.W.Patrick, Maker 440 RAF St. N. Fitzroy Melb" "Copyright, Regd". Good condition, retaining original pin fitting, minor foxing, colour remains bright.
Diameter 32mm.

HMS Hood built by 'John Brown & Company'. Launched 22 August 1918 and commissioned 15 May 1920. She was sunk during the Battle of Denmark Strait 24 May 1941.
While in Australia in April 1924, the squadron escorted the battlecruiser HMAS Australia out to sea where she was scuttled.
