An extremely rare First World War period '36th Division Ulster Volunteer Force UVF badge'; Crowned shamrock wreath with seven battle honours, the last "Thiepval" on which rests the "Red Hand of Ulster", blue enamel ribbon title scroll "36 Ulster Div"; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 15 carat gold hallmarks for 1918, maker's details "V&S" (Vaughton & Sons Birmingham) also engraved "Neill Belfast". Excellent condition, retaining original pin fitting, enamel perfect.
