Reading Police Senior Officer's Pre-1953 Cap Badge.

A scarce original pre-1953 'Reading Police senior officer's cap badge'; die cast chromium plated Kings Crowned eight pointed star, incorporating title circlet inland with blue enamel, the voided centre bearing the arms of the 'Borough of Reading' a lined shield displaying five maidens' heads in relief. Very good condition, retaining original two loop fittings and pin to reverse, enamel perfect.

Royal Hong Kong Police Force Pair of Cufflinks in Original Presentation Case.

A scarce post-1969 'Royal Hong Kong Police cufflinks' gilded metal and enamel examples in the form of the forces badge, surmounted by a Queen Elizabeth II Crown. Housed in their original velvet lined presentation case with gold leaf badge details to the inside lid and inscribed "Gazetted Officers' Mess Royal Hong Kong Police". Excellent condition.
Height 45mm.

Queen Elizabeth II granted the 'Royal' prefix in 1969 to the 'Hong Kong Police Force' and it became the 'Royal Hong Kong Police Force' only to be removed in 1997 upon the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong to China.

1920 Metropolitan Police Athletic Association 1920 Silver Hallmarked Prize Swimming Medal by Joseph Daffern & Co Hatton Garden, London.

An attractive 'Metropolitan Police Athletic Association silver and enamel medallion'; the obverse depicting swimmers and diver within a King George V crowned circlet inlaid with blue and white enamel; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1920, maker's details "J.D&Co" (Joseph Daffern & Co Hatton Garden, London) and inscribed '1920 "Henry" Cup Swimming Senior Runner Up F.Smith "E" Div.'. Very good condition, complete with ring suspension, small flake to enamel at 3 o'clock position, otherwise perfect and housed in a medal case.

A good original King George VI period 'Hertfordshire Constabulary helmet plate'; large blackened brass Crowned star the centre mounted with nickel "GVIR cypher within the title strap. Very good used condition, retaining original three loop fittings, blackened finish nicely toned and intact.

A very good original example of an irish 'Dublin Fire Brigade cap badge'; chromium plated example depicting a 'firemans helmet' over crossed axes small flaming grenade resting within with title scroll below, together with three buttons bearing the maker's details "Firmin London". Cap badge very good condition complete with loops and split pin, buttons with service wear, two with backing plates and split pins, complete with shanks.
