Children's League To Help The 'Princess Elizabeth of York Hospital For Children' circa 1932 Celluloid Tin Button Badge.

A very scarce original circa 1932 Children's League To Help The 'Princess Elizabeth of York Hospital For Children' celluloid tin button fund raising badge, the centre depicting a black and white portrait of 'Queen Elizabeth II' at the age of six, when the hospial had just been renamed, the rim with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Birmingham". Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, no signs of any foxing, excellent patina.
Diameter 22mm.

In 1932 the 'East London Hospital' was renamed the 'Princess Elizabeth of York Hospital for Children'.
In 1942 it amalgamated with the Queen's Hospital in Hackney Road to form the 'Queen Elizabeth Hospital for Children'.

1925 -1927 Weston-super-Mare Hospital Extension, Somerset, Roll of Honour Badge, For Work Done in Aid of the Sick and Suffering.

A very good original gilt and enamel 'Roll of Honour' badge, for the 'Weston-super-Mare Hospital Extension', bearing a 'Red Cross' above an unnamed bar and plaque stating "For Work Done in Aid of the Sick and Suffering 1925.1926.1927", set within ornate title scrolls, inlaid with blue enamelling. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings and suspension ring, enamel perfect, gilt remains fresh.
