A good original example of an end of Great War 'Peace Celebration sweetheart brooch', in the form of a small gilded brass laurel wreath, the centre mounted with a blue enamel 'Scroll' inscribed "Victory 1919 Peace". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, minor surface scratches.

A scarce original example of an end of Great War 'Peace Celebration sweetheart brooch', in the form of a brass dove trailing in its beak a blue enamel ribbon scroll inscribed "Peace 1919"; mounted on a mother of pearl disc with unmarked silver rim. A good original 1919 peace celebrations gilt brass medal, the obverse depicting the figure of a Britannia standing frontal with right hand holding an olive branch and left a dove, with 'Peace' over the symbol of a Trident between two dolphins, the allied nations around the edge, "Britain, France, Italy, America, Belgium". The reverse depicts a lion lying down with a cherab embracing him also holding a olive branch and inscibed "The Great War Peace Proclaimed Jume 1919". Very good condition, complete with rose boss suspension and pin fitting.

A rare end of war English Made nickel 'Peace Victory medal'; the obverse depicting a victorious allegorical figure of Britannia standing alongside her lion, bearing olive branch and scroll in one hand, trident in the other and inscribed "Hong - Kong; the reverse within a crowned union wreath of rose, shamrock and thistle "In Commemoration of the Defeat of Germany 1919". Good condition, minor edge knocks and scratches, retaining original suspension ring and remains of a small red, white and blue ribbon.

A good bronze 'Peace 19th July 1919 medal' presented at the end of the First World War by the 'John Dickinson & Company Ltd' to their employees for "Work Well Done 1914 1915 1916. 1917 1918". Very good condition and housed in its original presentation case.

John Dickinson & Co Ltd, Paper Makers founded in 1804 and based in Hertfordshire, established paper mills at Apsley, Nash and Croxley. Basildon Bond brand of stationery created by 'Millington and Sons' and named after Basildon Park, was acquired by John Dickinson in 1918.
