A rare original pre-war Motorcycle badge'; gilded brass example in the form of the company's logo a stylized lion in profile on blue enamel tablet "New Imperial"; the reverse impressed with maker's details "W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd Birmingham". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, minimal wear.
New Imperial was a British motorcycle manufacturer founded in Birmingham by Norman Downes, it became 'New Imperial Motors Ltd' in 1912 and ended production in 1939.

A good original vintage 'Rudge Night Riders lapel badge'; silver plated example in the form of a stylized owl head inlaid with blue enamel, bearing a red title scroll below; the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details "F & S.Ltd B.Ham" not quite conforming to the 1959 year pattern. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel chip above right eye, silver plating with wear.

A scarce original circa late 1940's 'Vintage Motor Cycle Club badge', rectangular brass example bearing the "VMCC" club's bell shaped logo in dark blue and light blue enamel, the reverse impressed with maker's details "Birmingham Medal & Badge Co Ltd". Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings typical of the period, enamel perfect.
The 'Vintage Motor Cycle Club' was formed in 1946 by 'Charles Edmond Allen', his objective was to promote the use and preservation of 'Vintage' machines prior to December 1930.
