A very scarce early pre-war period 'Nürburgring motor racing car badge'; depicting a stylized representation of the track around the 'Castle of Nürburg' in the Eifel mountains. This nickel plated brass example showing the the original finish on the reverse and with maker's details "Entwurf: Karl Kollback Jr Remagen Ausgetuhrt: Adam Donner Munzprage Elberield". Good uncleaned condition, service wear to plating on front, no stress marks or enamel loss, minor surface scratches and age toning.

Brooklands was the birth place of car racing in Britain. The track and and the first car racing club was the created by 'Hugh Fortescue Locke King', who devoted a large acreage of his Surrey estate, near Weybridge, to his passion for racing.
